Brandon -

Working on some Fire Dragons, trying to not let them take as long as the Storm Guardians took.

Scott -

Just finished this model tonight, with 4 more to go! I'm really starting to get the NMM concept down to a science. It's really fun to see the results when you know what you're doing.

Scott -

Yesterday Brandon and I entered into our first "tournament" since the Birthday celebration at the local Games Workshop store. The day brought about it a long haul of quick gaming and an enjoyable atmosphere (even though 1/2 of the gamers were Highschool or younger hah). Here are some quick highlights from each of my rounds.

Round 1 Purge The Alien - Matched up against a Dark Angels player. First time going against the new codex and I'm glad that it is quite balanced.... although the player was really new and young. The best moment from this match was being able to get into assault with Mephiston on turn 1 and then killing his warlord in his turn 2 for Warlord Slayer and a KP from the mission. Nothing better than getting one of the best CC characters into combat that early.

Round 2 The Scouring - I was honestly afraid of this match up. The player wasn't very seasoned, but he was running Tyranids with 4 big bugs and a bunch of other things that was going to ruin my day... not to mention Swarmlord and a Swooping Tyrant. I was able to contest all the objectives or kill all but 1 of his scoring units from capturing an objective.... in the end i lost because i was 1" away from a 3 point objective that would have tied the game. As for the highlight, not much happened. My Stormraven took out 15 or so gaunts in a turn but nothing that it shouldn't do in the first place.

Round 3 The Relic - This time i was playing a slightly more seasoned player who was running Grey Knights. I've never played them until yesterday, but they are marines... so they are pretty simple to go against. Mephiston rolled scoring on his warlord trait! I took the relic in turn 3 with him and was able to hold onto it the entire game until he died at the last turn right before time was called. The highlight here was my Stormraven again. This time the accolade is much more deserving because it killed 5 terminators and then on my last weapon i was able to instant death his Grand Master! So First Blood and Warlord Slayer got me the win by 1 point.

After all was said and done... I ended up winning 1st Place in painting and (from what i was told) 2nd overall! Brandon didn't do as well in the gaming, but he managed to secure 2nd in painting! So great day for us being at the top of the category that we wanted to be in. Even though we each only had "maybe" 8 models fulling painted... it bested the rest!

Before the store closed Brandon and I had a for fun match playing Emperor's Will. This did not go well for Brandon, as we both finally felt the age of his Eldar codex as my Stormraven cleaned his army from one side of the field to the other. Turn 2 I melted Eldrad with a plasma cannon and then assaulted the guardians he was attached to with Mephiston, clearing his hold on his objective solidifying my win.

With a codex update coming soon for the ancient Eldar, Brandon will get his revenge shortly!

Some Tyranids I did a few months back for a kill team event. I was inspired to do this scheme by poisonous dart frogs. Hope you like them!

Brandon-

Here posted is my old Eldar Warhost in Action. I have to give credit to my friend at http://phantomminis.blogspot.com/ for taking these amazing photos and touching them up brilliantly.

Brandon-

Here posted is some scenery I have been working on. There are a lot more pieces in the works in addition to a lot of area and scatter terrain. Due to my lack of focus it may be a while until most of these are complete.
